About Steve Hodgdon
For over 25 years, Steve has been an integral member of the Northern California business community.
Since 2007, he has been the President and Founder of Modern Property Management.
•  DRE License # 01802941, as well as a commercial real estate owner and developer in California and Colorado.
1989-2005: President, Owner and Manager of California Service Bureau.
•  This accounts receivable management company specialized in consumer collections in five Northern California cities.
•  Steve purchased these five disparate collections agencies and merged them into one cohesive platform offering a superior product at competitive rates, economies of scale, and improved profit margins.
•  Clients included numerous hospitals, medical care providers, and other businesses.
•  Created specialized accounts receivable process to improve California Court fine enforcements for four counties.
•  Leveraged collection agency technology and techniques to improve compliance with court orders.
•  Achieved $5 million in annual revenue at time of sale.
1998-2005: President, Pace Financial Services, Inc.
•  Purchaser of delinquent credit card debt and operator of collection agency.
1985-1989: Assistant Vice President, Associates National Bank.
•  Managed credit card lending and collection departments.
•  Developed statistically derived credit scoring models for national credit decision process.
